What a stunning spot to set up camp for a few days!  So good that it has claimed the title of "our favourite campsite". Perlubie Beach is only 15 minutes north of Streaky Bay and as the beach has a hard base it allows you to camp right on the sand, it does get a little softer as you continue up the beach. Shelly Beach Caravan Park | Ceduna SA

We spent five nights at Shelly Beach Caravan Park in Ceduna while we explored the far top corner of the Eyre Peninsula. This wasn’t our typical caravan park stay! You are now HALFWAY ACROSS AUSTRALIA!!! Kimba Recreation Reserve would have to be up there with one of the best free (donation ) camps we have stayed at in the middle of a town!   WHERE IS IT? Common Beach Camp Spot is such a beautiful FREE camp on the Murrumbidgee River at Darlington Point. We had this spot all to ourselves, not another soul in sight!! Darlington Point is a really nice little town. Looks to have had a few $$$ spent recently with new parks, playgrounds and a good looking boat ramp.
