There is a large area to camp with access to river.

At the time of our stay there were quite a few other campers so we continued through the campground and followed the river along until we found a quiet spot to camp.

  • Large area
  • Toilets
  • Pet friendly
  • Shade

Check out the listing on WikiCamps!

SANDY BEACH RESERVE is another free camp not far from Oura Beach.  Fabulous spot to camp also, we recommend it.

Hi I noticed you were near wagga not long ago and was wondering if you are still in this area? I have found your site amazing in planning our tassie trip from the 10th Dec 21 to 26th Jan 22. We are located in Cootamundra NSW and I would love to pick your brains if you are still in the area. We have a fully self contained unit (with ensuite, kitchen and washing machine at the back of our home that sleeps 4 and room to park a caravan if you are ever passing through. I would really love to pic your brains in person if you find yourself in this area before the end of the year. This is our first big trip and we are traveling with 4 kids.

Hi Tracey! Thanks for your message and I’m so glad you found our post on Tassie helpful – that is so great to hear!!
We are back home now (Newcastle) unfortunately! We will let you know if we are back down your way and would be more than happy to catch up. In the meantime feel free to head over to our Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/lifeoutsideworkblog) and send me a private message, I’ll answer any questions you have πŸ˜€
And Tassie is amazing, you’ll love it. There is so much to see and do! We were meant to head back last Xmas for another 6 weeks to explore what we missed but with Covid we didn’t get there. Maybe this year!
      Cheers Selina πŸ™‚
