Milparinka is around 250km north of Broken Hill and 40kms south of Tibooburra on the Silver City Highway.
Although the gold mining days are well in the past, the small community has restored some of the old buildings to preserve the town’s history.
The Milparinka Hotel still operates and you can stop in for a meal, a chat and a beer or two!

Milparinka is well worth a visit when touring around the outback!

I wonder if you could update this page in regards to camping at Milparinka NSW. There is now a campground behind the Historic Court House and Visitors Information Centre at Milparinka. There is a new amenities block with male and female toilets and hot showers as well as a coin operated laundry. There are two powered sites ($35 couple per night) plus unpowered sites ($30 per couple per night). Please pay at the Visitors Information Centre or at the Albert Hotel.
