In the late 1930’s Glen Davis was in the centre of the Shale Oil Industry, now it is somewhat of a ghost town.
The Capertee Valley is definitely worth a visit with its stunning scenery provided by towering sandstone cliffs in every direction you look.
Glen Davis Campground is in the centre of town and as it is not within Wollemi National Park, dogs are allowed.
