Our 6 week trip to Tasmania finally arrived, school had finished, work was done!

We set off to Moss Vale Showground, just south of Sydney for our first overnight stop. Moss Vale is only a short 20 minutes off the freeway so makes for a great place to stop if you are heading down the east coast of Australia.  Check it out here!

This trip didn’t have the best start – you can read about our car troubles here!

We were on the move heading south towards Melbourne.  We stopped around 150kms north of Melbourne at a little town called Euroa for the night.  Great spot with the Sevens River running through the van park.  We had a beautiful riverside spot for the night and enjoyed a peaceful stay.  We recommend a visit, see our review here!

The Spirit of Tasmania was in our sights. Due to our car issues (read about them here) we wanted to get as far south as we could yesterday, so we only had a short drive today.

Station Pier was only around 2 hours from Euroa but we were eager to get the troublesome car to the ship so left early, giving ourselves plenty of extra time if we needed it!  Thankfully we didn’t need it and the car made it, just meant we had a few hours up our sleeve while we waited to board the ship!

All information relating to the Spirit can be found here.  We detail where we parked prior to boarding and our on-board experience.
