Warners Bay to Speers Point Foreshore Walk

You will find Warners Bay Foreshore Walk along The Esplanade in Warners Bay, around 20 minutes from Newcastle’s CBD.

The Foreshore Walk is an 8.9km walking track from Eleebana to Booragul.

With a few hours to spare in Warners Bay while our car was having the windows tinted, we decided to scooter our way along some of this track.  We started at Warners Bay and finished at Speers Point Park, a total of 8.2km return.

The pink dotted line shows the full 8.9km track. The yellow line is where we walked.

A shared concrete pathway follows the lake foreshore and provides beautiful views across the water.

The walk is graded as easy and is mostly flat so suitable for all fitness levels.  There are many seats along the way so you can stop, rest and take in the lake views.

This is such a great place for a walk, run, bike ride or some scooter fun!

If you are a fan of Geocaching, there are a couple along the way too!  (Haven’t heard of Geocaching? Click here…)
