TAYLOR’S BEACH – Port Stephens, NSW

Our little man turned a big 5 on the 10th of January.  Among other things he got a brand new fishing rod!  So what better way to celebrate than a BBQ picnic dinner with a spot of fishing!!

We have a gorgeous little spot about 25 minutes from home – Taylors Beach!  It has a big grassy picnic area and the water is shallow and very calm for the kids to swim in.  And we always get a bite… although never anything overly big…but we keep trying!

Pretty happy with his new rod!

Dinner with a view!

Tyler managed to catch five little fish – and daddy caught a sting ray!

Releasing the whiting so he can grow a little bit bigger!

Never get sick of the view!
