The Drip Gorge Walking Track – Mudgee Region, NSW

THE DRIP GORGE WALKING TRACK is a fairly easy and mostly flat 2.8km return walk beside the Goulburn River.  There are a few steps to tackle but nothing too strenuous. 

The Drip is a 35 metre high overhanging cliff and water constantly drips out of the sandstone cliff to the river below.

Ulan/Cassilis Road
40 minutes north of Mudgee in New South Wales.

THINGS TO KNOW!

  • Picnic tables and toilets are located at the start of the track.
  • The parking area is accessible with a caravan and has a turnaround loop.
  • No dogs allowed as it is within the National Park.
  • The walk took us around an hour to complete, this was with time to stop and explore The Drip.

The walking track to the Lookout and The Drip is beautiful with some fascinating rock formations to see along the way.
