Scamander Sanctuary Holiday Park – SCAMANDER, TASMANIA

Nice park with a walking track to the beach. The sites were fairly small though – especially from the spacious free and low cost camp sites we had been used to.  Our ropes to our awning where pegged just inside the next site!!  BUT in saying all that, it has all the facilities that you need and the owners very lovely. The Pondering Frog – BICHENO, TASMANIA

The Pondering Frog is a Café and the owners have a grassed area adjacent that they allow access for camping. Cloudy Corner Campground – BRUNY ISLAND, TASMANIA

CLOUDY CORNER CAMPGROUND is a magic spot!  It is right down in the south of the Island but Bruny isn't overly big so this wasn't a problem for sightseeing. WHERE IS IT? End of Cloudy Bay Road, South Bruny Island, TAS Access to the campground is via the beach. Huonville Caravan Park – HUONVILLE, TASMANIA

HUONVILLE CARAVAN PARK was a stand out caravan park for us! Rowen, the park owner, caters very well for the kids! Each day at 4pm he has a display in the Farming Pavilion ...we’ve seen him milking Wattle the cow, shearing a sheep, the kids have been able to hold day old chicks, pat five week old calves and watch tassie devils being fed!
