Tomaree Head Summit Walk is a must!!  This walk is 2.2km return trip and took us around 25 minutes to get to the top to see the spectacular views of the Port Stephens area.  We did the walk early on a beautiful winter morning in May and then had breakfast at a cafe on the way home!

THE TRACK

The track starts off with quite a steep paved pathway and then climbs up changing between dirt tracks and grid mesh platforms and steps along the way.  As you get closer to the top you can see glimpses of the ocean between the trees.  Once at the top you are greeted with stunning views and it is well worth the effort!

THE VIEWS

Mt Yacaaba at Hawks Nest can be seen from the top of Mt Tomaree and is well worth the trek as well.  Check out our hike here.
