Belanglo State Forest is around an hour south of Campbelltown (Sydney) and is only a few short kilometres in from the Hume Motorway.
There are a couple of campgrounds in the State Forest and this one is Dalys Clearing. It is a beautiful open area among the pine trees and it’s a FREE CAMP!

CAMPGROUND INFORMATION
Pit toilets. Fires permitted (check sign for fire bans). Good dirt road from highway to camping area.
Definitely one we’ll be back to, such an easy (and quiet) stopover when heading up or down the Hume.
There is another campground 4kms away “Brethren Point Camping Area” and we have stayed there before as well. No toilet but plenty of space. Also recommend!Check out the listing on WikiCamps!
