Newcastle Memorial Walk

Newcastle Memorial Walk is located on Strzelecki Headland and spans 450 metres along the cliff top towards Bar Beach. The structure cost $4.5 million to build and over 64 tonnes of steel was used in its construction. TAYLOR’S BEACH – Port Stephens, NSW

Our little man turned a big 5 on the 10th of January.  Among other things he got a brand new fishing rod!  So what better way to celebrate than a BBQ picnic dinner with a spot of fishing!! We have a gorgeous little spot about 25 minutes from home - Taylors Beach!  It has a big grassy picnic area and the water is shallow and very calm for the kids to swim in.  And we always get a bite... although never anything overly big...but we keep trying! Our Adventure to Whoota Whoota Lookout

On a recent camping weekend at Sandbar Caravan Park we decided on a trip to Whoota Whoota Lookout.   Whoota Whoota Lookout is in the Wallingat National Park around 40 kilometres south of Forster, NSW. Tomaree Head Summit Walk

Mt Tomaree is located in Shoal Bay, Port Stephens, NSW.   Tomaree Head Summit Walk is a must!!  This walk is 2.2km return trip and took us around 25 minutes to get to the top to see the spectacular views of the Port Stephens area.  We did the walk early on a beautiful winter morning in May and then had breakfast at a cafe on the way home!
