VIVID SYDNEY 2017

VIVID Sydney is definitely something to put on your bucket list!  This was our first time to see this huge outdoor light event and we were very impressed!!  We will be back to explore more of the amazing displays another year. GEOCACHING… what you need to know to get started!!

Newcastle Memorial Walk

Newcastle Memorial Walk is located on Strzelecki Headland and spans 450 metres along the cliff top towards Bar Beach. The structure cost $4.5 million to build and over 64 tonnes of steel was used in its construction. Tyler turns 5!!!

Our little man turned a big 5 on the 10th of January.  Among other things he got a brand new fishing rod!  So what better way to celebrate than a BBQ picnic dinner with a spot of fishing!! We have a gorgeous little spot about 25 minutes from home - Taylors Beach!  It has a big grassy picnic area and the water is shallow and very calm for the kids to swim in.  And we always get a bite... although never anything overly big...but we keep trying!
