Newcastle Harbour Cruise

We had the perfect autumn day for our lunchtime cruise around Newcastle Harbour.   We were welcomed aboard the "Princess", a 28.5 metre vessel, and shown our seats ready to cruise the harbour! YACAABA WALKING TRACK Location: Hawks Nest, NSW (Myall Lakes National Park) Distance: 6.3km return to the Beach Road Car Park Time frame: 2.5 hours... this was with a nice rest at the top and some geocaching too! Grade: 4 Elevation: 185m above sea level GETTING TO THE START OF THE TRACK The walking track starts at the southern end of Bennetts Beach. Korsmans Landing Camping Area, NSW

KORSMANS LANDING CAMPING AREA is located within Myall Lakes National Park in New South Wales. WHERE IS IT? The campground is easily accessible by taking the Bulahdelah Exit from the Pacific Highway and then a short 13km along Bombah Point Road will have you there.  Bombah Point Road does turn to dirt halfway along but it is a good road. Bridge Reserve Campground – CLARENCE TOWN, NSW

Newcastle Memorial Walk

Newcastle Memorial Walk is located on Strzelecki Headland and spans 450 metres along the cliff top towards Bar Beach. The structure cost $4.5 million to build and over 64 tonnes of steel was used in its construction.
