Boomi River Picnic Area – Mungindi, NSW

Boomi River Picnic Area is a large free camp beside the river, just south of Mungindi. There is a flat area beside the road, however, if you follow the dirt road down to the river there is a huge area around 300 metres off the road that is perfect for camping! BENDEMEER CAMPING GROUND is a great low cost option between Tamworth and Armidale on the New England Highway. WHERE IS IT? Bendemeer is around 40 kms north of Tamworth in New South Wales. WHERE IS IT? "Old Bara", 631 Bara Road, Bara (near Mudgee) NSW. Old Bara is around 25 minutes to the east of Mudgee and is a working cattle property.
