The Old Glen Davis Shale Oil Works, GLEN DAVIS NSW

Just near Coorongooba Campground is the old Glen Davis Shale Oil Works that was in operation from 1940-1952. Guided tours are available on Saturday afternoons. If like us you are there outside of that time you can wander and look from afar... there are a few ruins including the bath house that you can get a closer look at! WHERE IS IT? Apsley Falls, Walcha NSW

You will find APSLEY FALLS a short 20 minutes to the east of Walcha in the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park in New South Wales.
